Reporting menu

Reports these days need to offer as many choices as the morning coffee menu. Painting numerical pictures with colourful charts and dials can work better for some than traditional tables of numbers.
Whatever flavour or blend of information is requested you can get it without I.T involvement. Run them daily, weekly, monthly or just ad-hoc . Stun the board with simple dashboards that cut to the chase, or give each function its own slant on the information they need.

Picky readers

Trawling through reams of data is no-one’s idea of fun, but headlines don’t always tell the whole story – so you’ll want to be able to drill down to the source data and share more than just the headlines, despite data volumes making it possible to satisfy everyone’s needs.

Craving Excel?

No need to kick Your Excel addiction, when it comes to reporting; now you can have the best of both worlds - pull live data into your Month End pack, actuals and forecasts to build beautiful Excel reports using the Office Connect add in.

Seeing is believing

Real Good Food PLC

A Listed PLC, Real Good Food use Discovery dashboards and Adaptive Reports to run their month end packs.

Normally customers put planning capability ahead of reporting but in the case of Real Good Food they needed to pull their operational data into dashboards . Having grown through acquisition they were in need of a common place to pull together data and report using the common measurement. Using the tool 'Office connect' they now pull together all their Month end packs in Excel using the functionality of Adaptive behind the scenes.

  • RGF now do all their management accounts on their GL, then pull results into their Adaptive system, enabling them to report like with like in one management accounts pack
  • Using a common reporting layer means they can report as an organisation rather than a list of companies – bringing many subsidiaries together
  • Having got the visibility needed to manage effectively, RGF are putting in Adaptive planning and Consolidation to give them the power to forecast and manage their group even more effectively
